Junior Salesforce Developer

We’re looking for a world-class Junior Salesforce Developer to help us continue on our hyper-growth trajectory and shape the future of Talkdesk.

Responsibilities:

  • Partner with our internal teams to determine business requirements and desired functionality for our Salesforce.com instance
  • Build and administer business systems that are high quality, scalable and secure including Salesforce.com-based solutions
  • Own Salesforce Sales Cloud administration end-to-end supporting a 50 person inside sales & field sales organization
  • Provide excellent end user support of Salesforce to our Sales, Sales Ops, Marketing, BizOps, Finance, Post-Sales and Product organizations
  • Maintain and enhance our business enterprise stack such as our CRM, ERP, MES, HRIS, and Financial systems and technologies including opportunities to design solutions to integrate third-party tools and system (preferably Marketo, Zuora, Netsuite, and Xactly)
  • Test enhancements to our SFDC deployment using the sandbox
  • Provide support on technical design, integration architecture, and solution recommendation
  • Provide support on quality control, release management, and coordinated delivery across our business
  • Improve marketing and sales productivity and drive better insights across the entire customer funnel
  • Improve forecasting methodologies and accuracy by optimizing tool use, processes and workflow across the Sales, Marketing and Post-Sales organizations
  • Assist with sales territory, quota, and headcount planning
  • Ensure data hygiene and integrity by de-duping and conducting cleanups on a regular cadence
  • Develop and administer SFDC training to all new sales hires

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of Salesforce.com experience:
    • Certified Force.com Developer (DEV-401) or equivalent experience OR Salesforce certifications as Admin and/or Force.com developers are preferred
  • Experience with third-party integrations
  • Extensive experience developing and managing applications on Force.com platform is a plus
  • Knowledge of Apex, Visualforce, Salesforce APIs, SOAP- and/or REST-based web services, and SOQL/SOSL is a plus
  • Excellent organizational and task management skills
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to translate business needs and requirements into innovative solutions
  • BS Degree in Computer Science or related field

Technical Skill Set Required/Desired:

  • Salesforce & Other Enterprise Systems: Salesforce CRM, Lightning, Marketo, Zuora, Xactly
  • Support & Collaboration Systems: Salesforce Service Cloud, Zendesk, Jira
