Sales and Marketing Analytics Manager

We’re looking for a world-class Sales and Marketing Analytics Manager to help us continue on our hyper-growth trajectory and shape the future of Talkdesk.

Responsibilities:

The goal for our new Sales and Marketing Operations team is to own any initiative that will help Talkdesk sell more, be more productive and reduce ramp time for new sales team members. Below are some areas you would likely to focus on:

  • Work on high priority initiatives including strategic planning, marketing spend effectiveness, territory optimization, sales incentive design, process optimization, and forecast modeling
  • Partner closely with senior leadership in sales and marketing to develop actionable, measurable projects that accelerate sales growth and improve sales & marketing effectiveness
  • Work closely with our Business Operations team and the business leaders to further develop metrics, KPIs, and insight that provides performance improvement such as deal velocity, win rate, and bookings growth
  • Collect, maintain and analyze Sales and Marketing metrics for Talkdesk’s Leadership team on a weekly, monthly, and quarterly cadence
  • Relentlessly analyze the business and proactively offer insight and recommendations to Sales, Marketing and Executive Leadership teams
  • Assist in the management and continuous improvement of sales operational processes and systems
  • Develop documentation for marketing and sales users on business level operational processes and use of systems, databases and reporting (systems will include third-party tools the company uses to support the salesforce)
  • Ensure appropriate integration with Marketo and work with Marketing team to ensure alignment

Requirements:

  • 4+ years of relevant experience
  • High proficiency with Excel and advanced data analytics proficiency
  • Salesforce reporting expertise; familiarity with Marketo a plus
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Solid experience with B2B SaaS sales and business fundamentals
  • Exceptional at structuring, interpreting, and presenting analyses
  • Strong problem solving and collaboration skills
  • Bachelor’s degree
