Buying Group Regional Sales Coordinator-

The Buying Group Sales coordinator will help build, then implement, our go-to-market strategies on a regional level with key hardware ‘beachhead’ retailers & chains, regional buying group coordinators and regional advertising groups. This person will work closely with our retail experience team to build a holistic go to market strategy that begins with a well contrived business plan focused on delivering strong sell through while maintaining quality, repeatable, and brand-positive revenue.

A good candidate will understand how to drive and track sell through, launch new products and categories, build out POG’s, have strong merchandising skills, plan and execute meaningful events that leave a wake. They will also need to speak in front of large groups, lead training and new model launch events, creatively maximize their budgets to deliver strong ROI and sell through, motivate shop employee/store manager/buyer with follow through and swag while building strong partnerships/relationships. drive spikes in sales during key promotions and make Traeger a disruptive player in the BBQ Space. This candidate will also be a team player, ready to step in where needed and support our overall common goals. And lastly, you have to have a bit of skill around the grill and enjoy the art of the ‘que!

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Service/visit existing Distribution Doors
  • Create Target List of desired regional doors
  • Drive overall Territory Sell Through
  • Use supplied existing dealer data to apply your resources
  • Identify existing doors that are underperforming, implement plan using supplied tools and resources to increase sell through and market share
  • Administer in-store training and certification 
  • Coordinate team around key sales and events so we are grilling for top doors and influential doors
  • Create 1-2 events per QTR where you or your TM are grilling at a non-dealer consumer event, but work to drive consumers to local dealers
  • Implement company directives with team and dealers
  • Create and report Monthly Competitor Analysis
  • Attend and support key events hosted in their region

 

QUALIFICATIONS:

A successful Territory Sales & Event Rep will be energetic and engaging in creating a friendly atmosphere and sales experience for each of our customers. 

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience
  • 1 or more years of B2B or B2C sales experience
  • Strong communication skills and proficiency with Microsoft Suite, Ipads, etc.
  • Ability to travel and work independently from the road frequently
  • Time management skills necessary
  • Ability to track on hand inventory, sell through, and apply strategy needed to drive partnerships
  • Ability to understand and learn complex distribution and channel strategies
  • Engaging personality with the ability to create relationships with key dealers as well as with the Traeger team
  • A willingness to share your passion for BBQ and our products
