What is the opportunity?

As a Marketing Associate, you will be responsible for a crucial piece of Main Street Hub’s growth strategy.  Working closely with the sales and marketing teams, you will build, manage and optimize Main Street Hub’s online marketing business – including developing our channel and partner selection and optimizing results.  Duties include hitting revenue targets, identifying trends, and developing campaign strategies to optimize email engagement and acquisition. This is a unique opportunity to construct and refine a critical part of Main Street Hub’s marketing engine!

What you'll do:

  • Identify and manage partners to drive growth
  • Own the health and quality of our email marketing channel
  • Conduct analysis and tests to understand key attributes of high performing partners
  • Manage lead distribution and follow-up from our sales organization
  • Work with marketing, sales and product groups to support your strategy and execute creative assets
  • Monitor campaigns to ensure ongoing success and optimization through regular performance reporting, data analysis, and partner collaboration
  • Collaborate with marketing team leaders on overall strategy, segmentation, and test conceptualization
  • Effectively manage own workload, including setting priorities and deadlines for all projects

What we’re looking for:

  • Unwavering integrity and strong character
  • Meticulous and process-oriented
  • A passion for helping great local businesses
  • 1-2 years working in an online marketing function - experience in e-mail, native, content and/or search is a plus
  • Experience working with 3rd parties / partners – negotiating, managing relationships, developing new relationships, etc
  • Strong analytic skills (Excel preferred) and superb communication ability (particularly writing)
  • Experience working closely with large, fast-growing sales organizations
  • Experience working with CRM and marketing automation systems (Salesforce.com preferred)
  • Marketo experience is a big plus
  • Familiarity with the Local/SMB space
