Who you are:

Casper is looking for a Production Artist to join our creative team in New York. The ideal candidate has a keen eye for layout and type as well as a strong command of print production/pre-press processes. You will support the team in comping and executing print and digital campaigns across a range of channels from web banners to OOH takeovers to print advertising. In addition, you will safeguard our brand standards and ensure typographic, layout and color consistency across all of the team’s projects.

What you’ll do:

  • Produce marketing collateral, out-of-home assets, presentations according to standard/custom specifications
  • Assist design team in producing and executing concepts.
  • Prepare final files for print production, and work with print/comp houses for printing/mock-up capabilities, file setup needs, and press checks
  • Sets up and maintains templates based on approved art
  • Maintaining and evolving graphic and brand standards for Casper
  • Uphold creative vision and ensure typographic and color standards across all print and web pieces.
  • Bundling content packages for media requests, content partners and outside agencies.

 

Requirements:

  • BFA/BA in Graphic Design or Media preferred. BA required.
  • 3+ years as Production Artist within a product company, design studio, creative agency, or print publication.
  • Understanding of (and experience in) branding, layout, color theory and typography.
  • Background in prepress, printing, and finishing techniques
  • Highly proficient in Adobe Creative Suite
  • Detail oriented and accurate; must be highly organized and possess the ability to track multiple projects at a time.
  • Strong hands-on studio skills for comping designs
  • Familiarity with 4-color process, Pantone matching systems, studio color management, color profiling for print and web (Adobe RGB, GRACoL DMax), and proofing
