Front-end Developer Intern

The last months we started rebranding/updating all of our web applications. This means that you will have the chance to work with some of the latest cutting-edge web technologies.

Next to this you will have the chance to get some real life experience in an agile driven company. You will participate in one of the scrum teams and will get to know the flow from estimating a new feature until finishing it.

Primary Responsibilities
  • Design new features from scratch
  • Provide estimates for development effort
  • Evolve and implement new and existing applications
  • Work with Lightspeed's back-end team to deliver product features and functionality
Requirements
  • Ability to learn new technologies or paradigms
  • Practical understanding of HTML5, CSS3 (pre/postprocessors is a plus)
  • Strong knowledge of JavaScript (ES6/TypeScript is a plus)
  • Solid understanding of cross-browser/platform issues and solutions
  • Experience building responsive web applications
  • Experience using JS Frameworks/Libraries like Angular
  • Experience with build tools like gulp, Webpack
  • Familiarity with node & npm
  • Deep knowledge of Web technologies
  • A keen interest in user interface design
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Experience using GIT
