Did you know that only 2% of kids are actively learning to code, in spite of the fact that 90% of parents want them to? We aim to fix that by delivering an immersive platform that kids will love to learn on, where coding is embedded into the very fabric of the OS.
Endless is looking for a (paid) intern for a 4-6 week project. We're looking for a special person who has a passion for writing technical instructional text that is engaging and encourages kids to code. Also desirable: familiarity with coding concepts like bash, basic algorithms, Linux, etc.
This project involves writing 20+ hours/week of instructional content that interacts with 4-5 coding environments, some of which are under development, so working with ambiguity is a must. One scenario involves snippets of guided instruction that teaches users fun Terminal tricks. Other scenarios will walk kids through fun activities in block-based coding tools or highlight great web-based curriculum.
