Senior Sales Solutions Engineer

About the Job:

Serve as the link between Sales/Account Management and Product on key features and products our clients need to be successful by managing and helping ensure the success of all technical facets of sales and gathering product feedback by attending client meetings with Account teams. Being a Sales Engineer at LiveIntent is about explaining how the technology solves the business problem. Sales Engineers are required to be able to do this well, to any audience from developers to executives, in a way that both communicates value and achieves the desired results. 

Responsibilities:

  • Participate and advise our sales team during sales cycle speaking to existing and new product
  • Participates in various stages of product release cycle from requirement gathering, design, development, to release and UAT
  • Act as a resource for Sales and Account Management to answer client technical questions during the RFI, pre-sales and post sales process
  • Propose product enhancements and features to meet client needs
  • Provide general technical expertise about the entire digital ad ecosystem
  • Make technical presentations to clients
  • Ability to translate client requests into business and functional requirements
  • Play key technical role in the launch of core and future products and features
  • Lead, manage, and ensure the success of all technical facets of sales and account management
  • Troubleshoot inbound issues submitted through LiveIntent by Account Management on behalf of their clients
  • Work with product on identifying systemic platform issues and the scope of technical problems or bugs and/or feature requests
  • Other duties and responsibilities as assigned 

Desired Skills and Experience:

  • BS/BA Degree or equivalent required.
  • 3-5 years of experience in a technical service environment preferably ad tech
  • Strong client-facing communication skills; ability to explain technical capabilities to CEO’s, Directors and CTO's, but also understands programming and networking concepts and terminology
  • Knowledge of and experience with ad serving and trouble-shooting ad tags
  • Experience with 3rd party data providers both from a targeting and analytics standpoint
  • Understanding of client CRM data and PII issues
  • Strong knowledge in at least one object oriented programming and scripting languages such as: JavaScript, PHP, Python, C++, C#
  • Ability to actively drive problems to resolution
  • Strong decision-making and critical thinking skills
  • Exceptional organization and prioritization skills
  • Ability to interact with management and peers in an appropriate, professional manner
  • Effective cross-department communication
  • Insightful, innovative and adapts well to a dynamic and fast-paced environment
