Job Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with localization project manager to support him/her to assure project success
  •  Understand product specifications and identify possible pitfalls in localization
  •  Maintain technical environments for reproducing issues for troubleshooting
  • File and report internationalization/localization bugs across projects
  •  You have hands-on linguistic QA testing for Dutch
  • You have experience with verification testing
  • Provide feedback regarding cultural appropriateness for Netherlands
  • Cross-reference QA findings across multiple languages as needed

 

 Required Job Qualifications:

  •  You are a native Dutch speaker and fluent in English as well
  • 4+ years of experience in linguistic quality assurance for testing internet applications
  • In-depth knowledge of internationalization and localization
  • You possess an excellent attention to detail and the ability to remain passionate about a project.
  • Experience in a team-oriented, deadline-driven production environment

 

Preferable Job Qualifications:

  • You have excellent verbal and written communication skills and are dedicated about working with others, including communicating with vendors and linguists
  •  Demonstrate a deep understanding of the localization industry and its technologies
  •  Experience with JIRA or similar bug tracking system
  • Experience with Smartling or similar localization tools
  • Bachelor degree in Linguistics, Computer Science, related technical degree or equivalent work experience

 

This position has the opportunity to work remote.
