The Opportunity:  

There is a major shift underway in the B2B sales industry due to social media. Buyers are now getting 57% of the way through the buying process before talking to a sales rep and traditional methods of selling, such as cold calling, are diminishing in effectiveness. LinkedIn's Sales Solutions business enables sales professionals to leverage their professional brand to fill their pipeline with the right people, insights, and relationships.  We help sales professionals turn cold calls into warm opportunities.

The Role:

LinkedIn's Sales Solutions business is a rapidly growing business unit within LinkedIn's Global Sales Organization. We are looking for a passionate sales leader to join our team in Sales Solutions and help us transform the B2B sales industry.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead, hire, train, develop a team of account execs – 7-10 reps 
  • Lead through LinkedIn’s culture and values – Be an ambassador of LinkedIn's brand
  • Provide thought leadership throughout the market as an ambassador of social selling and sales transformation.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams such as recruiting, product consulting, sales effectiveness, sales development and marketing to support the success of your region.
  • Achieve quarterly and annual revenue targets.
  • 1/3 travel (domestic) is required.
  • Build and execute a robust territory plan to maximize  customer value<span

Basic Qualifications:

  • BA/BS degree
  • 10+ years of experience in a quota-carrying sales role
  • 5+ years leading sales regions

Preferred Qualifications:

  • MBA
  • Experience selling SaaS solutions, CRM platforms or software platform solutions
  • Top performer: performance ratings in top bucket/category at prior employers
  • Equal parts results driven and data driven
  • Social selling advocate and influencer
  • Ability to drive and manage cross-functional projects to drive scale
  • High integrity, team-focused approach: collaboration skills to build alliances across LinkedIn
  • Execution-oriented to build pipeline and achieve revenue targets in a predictable way
  • Ability to effectively hire and motivate account executives
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, startup environment
