The Opportunity

This role is responsible for supporting the brand’s social media strategy and requires digital-agility + enthusiasm for driving traffic and brand awareness across multiple channels + communities. This candidate is an excellent communicator with strong branding and design background, enthusiasm for the visual web, and knowledge of a multitude of social media platforms. The candidate should have experience with managing online communities and a skill set that includes experience with branding, art direction, social marketing and online publishing. Candidate must be a flexible and creative self-starter who is able to work within an entrepreneurial environment and support multiple projects at once.

  • Assist with building an engaging brand presence on Instagram, Pinterest, Facebook, Twitter, Youtube and more.
  • Create, post and execute One Kings Lane content across all channels
  • Community management and foster 2-way conversation with users on Instagram, Pinterest and Twitter
  • Concept and support omni-channel marketing campaigns
  • Assist with supporting team in production + promotion of engaging content to coincide with product stories, marketing messages, seasonal initiatives + store news
  • Measure, analyze and report on all social media initiatives
  • Coordinate and contribute with PR + Brand Marketing teams on projects
Requirements & Qualifications
  • 1 - 2 years professional experience, media industry  experience a plus
  • Excellent photo editing skills, strong eye for photography, + strong grasp of the visual web
  • Must be strong self-starter who thinks on her/his feet to solve problems. Ability to recommend, and initiate work and projects with minimal direction
  • Uncanny attention to detail, unrivaled time management skills, exceptional initiative & follow-through skills
  • Superior interpersonal and written/verbal communication skills; ability to thrive in a cross-functional, team-based environment is critical
  • Experience with social media platforms including blogs, Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, Instagram + more
  • Branding, art direction, and photography experience a plus
  • Interest in home furnishings, design + art a plus
