CRM Specialist

The CRM Specialist will implement and execute ongoing customer marketing programs supporting both B2B and B2C business objectives. This position will oversee and execute email campaigns, including communications calendar and customer segmentation, trigger-based campaigns, promotions, events, sweepstakes, campaign reporting, and other CRM initiatives as necessary.

The successful candidate will have an understanding of direct marketing principles and will have a demonstrated interest in and facility with “test and learn” strategies and data analysis. The CRM Specialist will be an effective communicator and collaborate cross-functionally to execute CRM strategies.


  • Plan, manage and execute email and CRM strategies; operate with a sense of urgency to deliver campaigns on time and as defined per campaign requirements
  • Partner with Sales, Media, Product and Creative groups to ensure cohesive execution of marketing strategies and communications
  • Work with Director, Analytics to develop and deliver standardized program analytics and related reporting platforms
  • Build communication calendars, drip campaigns and execute against each as required to support B2C and B2B campaigns
  • Manage audience selection and segmentation in support of overall business objectives
  • Foster and develop relationships with key operational vendors supporting email efforts
  • Execute testing strategies that deliver incremental response gains from email and CRM programs. Show week over week progression


  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications or related field
  • 2-5 years’ experience in marketing, with a focus on database and/or email marketing
  • Strong Microsoft Office, particularly MS Excel, skills
  • Experience with Pardot, Exact Target or related software as well as web analytics tools for reporting
  • Ability to partner with cross-functional stakeholders and vendors to execute strategy
  • Must be able to handle diverse responsibilities and work independently to achieve results
  • Copywriting skills a PLUS
