RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Be the voice of Carvana. This will largely entail customer interaction via phone and web chat. We will expect that your interpersonal communication skills are strong in both capacities.
  • Be a high energy, forward thinking self-starter. We like fast learners that hate micromanagement and being babysat!
  • Keep the kind of detailed notes in our customer tracking system that would make George R. R. Martin blush.
  • Multi-task and prioritize with the swiftness of a ninja. We work within multiple systems, so the pace is fast and you’ll rarely be doing one thing at a time.
  • Embrace new challenges every day. Being adaptable and flexible are critical!
  • Follow up on items…and follow up…and follow up again, just because you weren’t sure the first two times.
  • Embrace your mistakes! You’ll inevitably make a few.
  • Help identify what we have missed.
  • Help us build a stronger company. Every day.

 

REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited undergraduate institution. Honorary degrees, while totally awesome, aren’t applicable.
  • Have 1-3 years of relevant communications based experience.
  • Have a sense of humor. Kinda serious about this one…
  • Have an understanding of the value of teamwork and how teams work…oooh, that was deep. We’re philosophizers at heart.
  • Have a heightened sense of urgency, a heightened attention to detail and be able to communicate our customer offering.
  • You will not leave your personality at home. We thrive from each unique perspective. Our strength is in our diversity of opinions.
