Director, Consumer Product Marketing

OpenTable is looking for an experience B2C Product Marketing Leader who thrives in fast-paced, tech environments and has a passion for bringing food and technology together. The Director of Product Marketing will partner with Product and Marketing leaders to drive the marketing initiatives for our consumer products.


  • Define and lead product marketing initiatives for the consumer product, including both the site and mobile apps
  • Build a strategic partnership with Product Management to inform, support and define the product roadmap
  • Manage go-to-market strategy for all new product features -- develop product positioning, define target audience, conduct competitive analysis, manage budget and KPIs.
  • Ensure flawless execution of integrated marketing plan with design, product and key channel marketers including PR, content, social, email, display, ppc and mobile.
  • Know our customers  -  drive quantitative and qualitative customer intelligence , capture and interpret customer feedback and conduct customer satisfaction surveys
  • Develop and build strong internal and external relationships with key business partners , including but not limited to Product Managers, Creative Designers, Channel Marketers, Restaurant Marketers and Sales .
  • Regularly present to executive team on marketing plans and campaign results
  • Lead and coach the Product Marketing team on building marketing strategies, goal setting, career growth and more

Requirements:


  • 8+ years of experience in product marketing, with 4+ years of management experience
  • Specific experience in consumer technology-driven brands a plus
  • Solid analytical ability, with a testing mindset
  • Superior leadership qualities with proven ability to lead, coach and mentor
  • Proven ability to build strong relationships, and work effectively in a highly cross-functional team
  • Adaptable and flexible within a fast-moving, dynamic and often-shifting business environment
  • Excellent written, presentation and verbal communication skills, including the ability to communicate complex concepts clearly and simply
  • MBA preferred
