The Transaction Manager is responsible for the onboarding of commercial real estate assets to the Ten-X website, as well as the management of the logistics required for a successful property sale.  Once a seller and broker are ready to sell a property with Ten-X, the Transaction Manager professionally manages the process of bringing a Commercial Real Estate asset online. The onboarding process includes the coordination and management of multiple internal and external parties.  It requires a self-motivated work ethic that can make independent judgments with minimal supervision, in a fast paced and fun environment.  It involves the collection, review and analysis of commercial real estate due diligence.   This role also involves the understanding and mastery of specialized internal database and reporting systems.


  • Prepare, circulate and work with the assigned business developer, client manager, valuer, underwriter, seller and broker for approval and review of the website and marketing collateral.
  • Order and review of 3rd party environmental and property condition reports.
  • Take primary ownership of the marketing collateral for assigned assets, including the website property pages and the event marketing brochure.
  • Partner with marketing, client managers and brokers to ensure quality control of property specific website data and marketing materials, including the event brochure.
  • Ensure quality control of other listing websites and edit/update as necessary.
  • Assist with the bidder registration process for assigned assets, including a focus on customer service which is used to guide bidders through the auction process in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Identify, communicate and troubleshoot any technical issues or concerns that arise.
  • Respond to customer inquiry calls, directing them to answers relating to both operational and service issues. This requires an in depth overall understanding of the entire CRE platform, as well as the ability to make independent on the spot judgements which best represent Ten-X.


  • Familiarity and understanding of commercial real estate sale transactions including timelines, due diligence documentation and disclosures is required;
  • Attention to detail
  • Ability to present a professional image and demeanor to internal and external customers;
  • Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing with internal and external clients;
  • Demonstration of organizational skills, attention to detail and ability to handle confidential material;
  • Strong overall proficiency with Microsoft Office and computers.


  • Two (2) or more years of real estate experience required
  • Bachelor’s degree, or an equivalent combination of experience and education
