Pandora is looking for a Program Manager to play a critical role in driving and managing concurrent projects related the successful roll out, communication, and commercialization of changes to ad products, system and platform updates and process improvements. This role will also manage key vendor partnerships.  This is a highly cross-functional independent contributor role that will report into Revenue Operations and combines aspects of project management, product marketing, vendor management, marketing communications, and training. 

The ideal candidate will have proven experience managing large-scale sales operations projects for online or mobile advertising departments, and past success in being a liaison with senior cross-functional players in Sales, Marketing, Product, Engineering and Ad Technology.  You should be able to build proactive communications programs and possess an ability to distill complicated issues into meaningful, actionable components. You should have an eye for efficiency, scale, and automation, and always question how we can make things better, faster, easier.  You should be able to work autonomously but thrive on collaboration.  You should enjoy working in an extremely fast-paced and rapidly changing environment.  Excellent relationship-building skills, communication capabilities, experience with crisis communications and project management skills are crucial.  And, of course, you should love music.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Set sales operations go-to-market strategy for various internal programs and initiative
  • Manage key vendor relationships in the areas of measurement and platform
  • Develop and coordinate realistic project estimates, plans and/or metrics
  • Engage with and obtain buy-in on program strategy from senior leaders of cross functional teams
  • Setup and manage in-house / outsourced project execution teams with associated processes to ensure successful completion of the program
  • Work and communicate effectively with Sales, Operations, Engineering, Product Management, Finance and Legal to build consensus and meet projected deadlines
  • Drive, manage and communicate status on programs from conception through launch, and provide post-launch analysis
  • Build strategic communication framework for internal constituents; manage proactive and reactive communications to various internal departments
  • Assist internal teams with developing and communicating best practices around new ad products and related initiatives
  • Partner with internal sales marketing and communication teams to develop product marketing and training materials as needed
  • Build competency and thorough understanding of Pandora advertising products, systems, and internal tools


  • BS or BA degree
  • 4+ years in a Program Management, Technical Project Management, Business Analyst, or Ad Technology role at a digital or mobile media company
  • Outstanding written/verbal communication skills with internal & external audiences; polished and professional demeanor
  • Proven ability to build senior-level relationships, to lead cross-functional teams and to influence decision-making
  • Experience partnering on large-scale projects with Sales, Product and/or Engineering teams in a leadership capacity
  • Capacity to manage and prioritize multiple projects concurrently
  • Experience with industry standard web and mobile advertising operations vendors and concepts
  • Excellent analytical skills
  • Proficiency with SFDC, MS Excel, MS Word, MS PowerPoint, SmartSheet and other productivity tools
