We are looking for QAs to be a quality evangelist that supports development teams at all stages
Depending on your experience and your area of interest you'll either work as a QA in a development team or work cross-functionally with quality on a more strategic, holistic level.
As a team member in one of our development teams you know that testing and improving quality of what is produced is not mainly about finding bugs or reporting pass rates for test cases. It is about things like finding and communicating risks, helping your fellow developers find weaknesses and inconsistencies in the way the code works, connecting what is committed to what is actually delivered and being the user's eyes and ears where the magic happens. A QA at Spotify knows that tours, charters, scripted testing, playbooks, test reports etc... are all tools to reach goals and not to cover your back. We value interactions over processes and tools, and working software over comprehensive documentation.
