Role Summary

Responsible for ensuring client utility invoices are entered and exported in a timely manner.  Will have direct contact with retail energy provider to research and resolve past due accounts, billing errors and misapplied payments.
Role Description
  • Point of customer contact on inquiries regarding services performed.
  • Coach and mentor Invoice Processors on client teams.
  • Assist the Supervisor in coordinating work for specific customers.
  • Approve, export, and post batches in UM.
  • Resolve outstanding check/ re-issue payments; run the outstanding Check Report.
Role Competencies
  • Associates Degree or 2 years business experience (data entry, customer service preferred)
  • Experience with other Microsoft Office products, including Excel, Word, and Visio
  • AP/AR, banking experience preferred
  • Familiarity with the energy industry and/or energy and utility accounting software applications
  • 10 key by touch
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills
  • Excellent communication skills and acute attention to detail
  • High performance teams and a strong team player
  • Commitment to confidentiality and company values
  • Assist Invoice Processors on setting up new account templates UM
  • Approve new accounts/sites/vendors; closed accounts/sites.
  • Edit and maintain account memos to accurately reflect and resolutions or modifications to account status.
  • Assist Invoice Processors with entry and verification when necessary
  • Run Bill Gap Report and research/resolve each issue
  • Assist Invoice Supervisor as needed.
