This position will manage, receive and allocate all inventory of ingredients, packaging materials and raw materials including but not limited to refrigerated products, corrugated products, meat, seasonings, etc.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include, but are not limited to, the following:


Human Resources

  1. Hire and train warehouse and shipping coaches; hold regular meetings with coach staff, establish goals and objectives, policies and procedures, performance standards, and time off schedules.
  2. Work with outside vendors on materials for warehouse.
  3. Work with coaches to minimize overtime.

Programs and Activities
       1.   Maintain accurate inventory
       2.   Maintain warehouse equipment
       3.   Monitor and minimize raw material inventory variances
       4.   Monitor and minimize packaging inventory variances
       5.   Control labor variances
       6.   Maintain a good working relationship with all subordinates
       7.   Work closely with purchasing and scheduling

Supervisory Responsibilities
Manages one subordinate supervisor who supervises a total of 20 employees in the Cooler/Warehouse. Is responsible for the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of this unit. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university that has been accredited by the Department of Education; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

INFORMATION SYSTEMS SKILLS Ability to use advanced research skills in order to obtain the information needed to complete tasks. Advanced use of computerized word processing and spreadsheet programs, e-mail, and the Internet.
