HomeAway Global Customer Experience is seeking a Training Specialist for our Education and Knowledge Management Team. The primary responsibility is designing and delivering learning solutions to our customer service representatives. We are looking for someone who’s creative, resourceful, great at figuring out technical details, and who has an affinity for delivering a great product to a diverse environment on time and sometimes under time constraints.
Responsibilities: - Collaborate with internal Subject Matter Experts (SMEs), Customer Experience leadership, product and product marketing teams to design and develop training plans and schedules for a global audience - Review and revise all training and content based on vendor feedback and product updates - Create digital interactive content such as e-learning, system simulations and surveys - Manage training dates for on-time delivery based on deadlines and priorities
Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree required in Instructional Systems Design or Instructional Technology; or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience - Knowledge of a Call Center environment and the needs of customer service representatives - 2 years of experience creating training materials for online and in-person delivery using a broad range of tools and technology - Knowledge of instructional design methodology and adult learning principles - Capable of managing and making rapid progress on multiple projects simultaneously - Ability to develop relationships with subject matter experts, gather and organize necessary information, and produce quality training materials - Excellent written and verbal communication skills - Ability to work well independently in a fast-paced environment - Flexibility and ability to be a team player are critical - Ability to travel internationally up to 10%
