Position Description:
Okta is seeking an experienced quality engineer for our Mobile team. This team is responsible for developing our mobile apps, web services, and mobile related parts of our integrations with applications and service providers.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:
Major areas of responsibility include:

  • Analyze/Refine requirements with Product Management and validate through testing
  • Work with software engineers and engineering management to scope and plan efforts
  • Design and implement core, scalable software test automation
  • Interface with Product Management, Development, Documentation and UX teams
  • Partner with Customer Support and field teams to understand customer use cases and build relative test plans
  • 3+ years of test automation experience building highly-reliable, mission critical software
  • Able to write new and maintain existing manual and automated test cases
  • Experience testing device management and/or mobile applications for Windows, iOS or Android
  • Selenium Webdriver (preferably with Java)

Minimum REQUIRED Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • 3+ years of test automation experience building highly-reliable, mission critical software
  • Able to write new and maintain existing manual and automated test cases
  • Experience testing device management and/or mobile applications for Windows, iOS or Android
  • Selenium Webdriver (preferably with Java)
  • Working knowledge of HTTP and RESTful communication

Nice to haves:

  • Appium
  • SSO, IDP or MFA experience
  • Security experience
  • B.S. or M.S. in Computer Science or related field
  • Familiarity with terminology and techniques for Software Refactoring
  • Experience with apple app store and/or google play store approval process

Education and Training:

  • B.S. or M.S. in Computer Science or related field
