About the Role

The HR Coordinator will work with teams across the organization to assist with office management and day-to-day HR administrative tasks in the Toronto office. You enjoy wearing many hats throughout the day and show the best version of yourself in a fast paced environment. You will help to ensure a flawless, employee-friendly experience and contribute to the overall success of Upsight. Helping run an office and support a growing team is a challenge you are excited to take on. You should amaze people by what you’re able to accomplish and handle the office and HR functions with ease.

About You

  • Bachelor’s or College Degree in Business or HR function
  • 6 months-1 year working experience in an Office or HR Coordinator role
  • Insanely organized
  • Can work independently and in a team
  • Self-starter
  • Critical thinker (solves your own problems)
  • Ability to learn on the fly
  • A natural communicator with an upbeat and professional attitude

What You’ll Do

  • Own our office space to ensure it runs smoothly even when you’re not around
  • Lead the coordination of all team events
  • Basic HR functions such as processing benefit enrollments, documents preparation, etc.
  • Coordination for all stages of interviews in Toronto
  • Support the onboarding and offboarding of all employees in Toronto
  • Ensure the Toronto organization is compliant with labour laws, including Health & Safety
  • Benefits & vacation administration
  • Be a cultural cheerleader, your energy is infectious
  • Anticipate the needs of those around you, problem solve and be challenged to make our environment better
  • Be the go to person for all employee inquiries about policies, company initiatives, benefits, and life at Upsight
  • Handle issues or concerns with a smile and kindness (never let them see ya sweat)
