Account Executives at MapR will be responsible for qualifying leads, building relationships with prospective customers, networking with partners, and closing business within a designated territory. Sales cycles are technically complex and will require Account Execs to engage with people at multiple levels within an account. Those who consistently meet and exceed their sales targets will be considered for any number of exciting career expansion opportunities within our growing organization!
-You will be prospecting 90% of your own leads
-Work closely with Inside Sales Systems Engineers to answer any potential customer's technical questions or concerns
-Qualify leads and manage entire sales cycle
-BA or BS degree required
-Skilled at initiating phone discussions and overcoming objections
-Proficiency using enterprise-grade sales CRM
-Proficiency using social networking tools to help canvas an account (LinkedIn, Jigsaw)
-Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.
-Up to 2 years closing experience prospecting into medium-to-large enterprises is preferred, but not required
-Must be currently in a quota carrying role
