The role is part of the Security Operations Team, and is responsible for providing analysis and support in evolving the organisation’s security program and posture. Reporting to the Head of Information Security Operations, the role involves assisting in the development of procedures, policies and controls supporting security and privacy best practices in the operation of a global cloud-hosted enterprise SaaS solution.  Also required, are fulfilment of ongoing security assessments for both internal and external customers, including penetration tests, risk assessments and audit responsibilities. Input into internal product development processes with respect to security and privacy requirements would also be expected. An awareness and understanding of global security threats along with capability in evaluation and implementation of relevant mitigation solutions, including communication and security awareness strategies would also be part of the role.


  • Respond to customer security assessment requests made to the organisation
  • Develop security processes and procedures that meet existing & newly developed policy and regulatory requirements
  • Monitor, review and respond to actual or potential security incidents, threats or flaws relevant to deployed technologies and services.
  • Assist in the identification, evaluation and implementation of information security solutions
  • Perform penetration tests and security assessments as part of the development lifecycle
  • Support development and operation of internal security awareness communications and training programs
  • Work closely with other functions to promote awareness of applicable regulatory requirements and best practices across the organisation.
  • Document and report on technical and procedural security controls and associated risks across the organisation
  • Partner with both technical and business functions to implement change supporting goals of the security program
  • Analyse, understand and support existing and future business processes, services and applications
  • Ongoing awareness of security technologies, threats, mitigations and general security best practices


  • Experience in Information security operations and technical business analysis fields, preferably in a cloud-hosted infrastructure
  • Knowledge of information security and privacy principles and regulations
  • Experience and/or knowledge of operating and managing vulnerability scanning tools
  • Good knowledge and understanding of OWASP Risks
  • Positive attitude and ability to work and communicate well with both internal and external customers and stakeholders
  • Proactive approach to problem solving with ability to report and present risks, issues and assessments to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Common sense
