Director of Sales Development

Location (San Mateo, CA)

We are looking for a high energy and driven Director of Inside Sales to manage a team of Sales Development Representatives (SDR’s). You should have experience recruiting and developing a high velocity team creating market demand for business-to-business SaaS software. We are building a world-class sales organization of ambitious, intelligent and analytical sales professionals. Lattice is an early innovator in one of the hottest areas of the marketing technology market: predictive applications.

Responsibilities:

  • Recruit, train and manage a team of Sales Development Representatives (SDR’s)
  • SDR role includes qualifying Marketing leads, cold calling, prospecting, pipeline building
  • Meet or exceed sales objectives including number of calls, scheduled meetings, lead conversion
  • Ensure that sales pipeline remains full with qualified leads & prospects    
  • Monitor employee productivity and motivate team to reach daily goals
  • Continuously manage the performance and development of team through proper coaching, development, goal setting, sharing results, motivation and creative incentives
  • Establish, enforce and improve lead generation processes to maximize team efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Collaborate with the Sales and Marketing teams to establish a systemic approach to inbound and outbound lead generation that is aligned with the company goals
  • Discuss with Sales teams best practices, business and market trends and refine qualification approach to maximize opportunities
  • Utilize creativity to proactively develop new ideas and/or creative marketing programs to stimulate customer interest and demand, increasing lead generation
  • Regularly report on Team/Individual Results

 

Desired Skills and Experience:

 

  • 3+ years experience managing SDR teams in business-to-business (B2B) SaaS sales environment (ideally)
  • Recent success recruiting and developing a high velocity inside sales teams
  • Demonstrated experience developing inside sales process, workflow, lead management
  • Strong knowledge of Salesforce.com and other technologies that enable SDR productivity
  • Track record thriving in an entrepreneurial and self-starting environment leveraging your creativity, insight, and intellect
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills

  • Analytical and quantitative skills
  • Track record of coaching, mentoring, and developing talent
  • BA or BS required
