Director of Demand Generation

Driving on and offline demand generation for our marketing team, this role will be directly responsible for driving new business for our enterprise and mid-market business. This important role drive the overall demand generation plan by partnering with different marketing functions and the sales organization to drive high velocity growth.


Responsibilities

  • Drive the overall demand generation plan by partnering with different marketing functions and the sales organization 
  • Understand the needs of our target audience, marketers and communication professionals, and translate those needs into interesting, creative, and personalized marketing programs that drive measureable business results
  • Develop a strategic and integrated Account-Based Marketing program to target our top tier Enterprise accounts
  • Own select paid program channels for vendor management, negotiations, communications, execution, and analysis 
  • Ensure programs deliver on marketing qualified lead and cost per qualified lead goals
  • Write, edit, and launch targeted database emails and nurturing programs in Marketo 
  • Create and deploy A/B testing for email copy, CTAs, subject lines, and more 
  • Own list builds and segmentation in Marketo for all email programs 
  • Analyze program performance and marketing attribution, continually optimizing for conversions 
  • Collaborate across content, social, creative, and events to execute integrated marketing programs 
  • Determine ongoing improvements to the qualified lead flow and reporting process to sure leads are correctly qualified, routed and their impact is measured

 

 

Qualifications / Skills

  • Bachelors Degree, MBA a plus 
  • 5+ years of experience in a fast paced, demand generation focused marketing organization for a high-growth SaaS organization
  • Proven ability to grow and nurture a database with increasing conversion and decreasing costs
  • Comfortable setting an MQL and conversion goal and associated budget and experience delivering against those goals
  • A demonstrated understanding of the sales funnel and focus on driving leads, MQLs, and SQLs
  • Marketo Certified Expert or 3+ years of Marketo experience 
  • Experience marketing to large enterprises using online techniques
  • Online program management experience including PPC, content syndication, paid emails, and advertising 
  • Experience building and growing a mar tech stack with continual innovation
  • Excellent analytical skills with experience measuring marketing attribution 
  • Some experience and familiarity using Salesforce.com to track marketing results
  • Intellectual curiosity - you strive to learn more about the customer and their goals - and how Dynamic Signal solves them 
  • 1+ years of management experience 
  • Experience marketing to both SMB and Enterprise companies 
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and writing skills—you will be writing your own emails and landing pages, and will be presenting to sales or at industry conferences 
  • Not afraid to be a player/coach
  • Account based marketing campaign and/or software experience is highly desired
  • Bonus points for Up to date and working knowledge of website management and SEO techniques
  • Bonus points for experience with toutapp customer communication tools like gainsight and free trial conversion optimization experience
