Our inventory availability team is critical to Wayfair’s growth strategy. This is a leadership role to help define and drive our next generation supply chain network. This is a unique opportunity to get in on the ground floor of a new, highly strategic team that will have high visibility among Wayfair senior leadership. This role is focused on inventory planning and replenishment, specifically bridging the gap between an algorithmically developed product forecast and sound business decisions on item level replenishment. We are looking for people that have strong quantitative skills, strong business acumen and insight into consumer trends.
The Senior Manager of Inventory Availablity will ensure that inventory levels are sufficient to enable our rapid growth, while maintaining target turn rates. The ability to work collaboratively across teams will be an important enabler of success. Due to the high visibility of this role, the Senior Manager must also possess strong senior presence. You will partner closely with the demand forecasting team to develop reliable product forecasts as well as our suppliers to ensure they are maximizing the growth opportunities and optimizing the supply chain strategy. You will partner closely with the leadership teams across our sales channels to match demand with supply. And you will partner closely with our fulfillment services account team, a new and highly strategic team at Wayfair. As Wayfair continues to grow at a rapid pace, managing inventory levels will play a vital role in ensuring we maintain our high growth trajectory. This new team will be at the forefront of solving this potential problem and unlocking continued growth!
