Wayfair's product catalog continues to grow! As part of the team dedicated to Wayfair’s proprietary catalog, these analysts focus on optimization and quality assurance of new and existing products within the Wayfair offering. The ideal candidate is analytical and detail oriented, comfortable working in a throughput based environment, and excited to work independently within a team working towards a common goal.  This role also requires a focus on operational improvement: continually refining processes, eliminating bottlenecks and improving efficiency of the online catalog.
 
The Product Catalog Analyst role is a great opportunity for a self-motivated professional to join a fast growing e-commerce business and learn about online retail. We expect individuals to be able to learn quickly and grow within our company.  
 
Responsibilities:

  • Execute various merchandising projects as directed by Business Strategy
  • Analyze and maintain our existing product catalogue data
  • Transform and supplement general product data for existing and emerging products
  • Classify and attribute products to improve site search functionality
  • Validating incoming project materials for completeness and accuracy to ensure data requirements are fulfilled
  • Evaluate product image quality and accuracy
  • Drive process, technical, and operational improvements
  • Collaborate with internal and external partners to create best in class customer experience

 

Qualifications:

  • Four-year bachelor’s degree
  • History of high academic performance
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Experience with Excel ideal
  • Attention to detail and ability to catch errors
  • Ability to multi-task several projects
  • Ability to adapt to a rapidly changing environment
  • Comfortable with technology
  • Experience with SQL scripting is a plus
