Technical Marketing Engineer

The Job

The Technical Marketing Engineer will primarily focus on the flagship Pindrop product offering Fraud Detection System for large enterprise customers. This person will produce technical collateral and pre-sales support for internal Marketing and Sales teams. The ideal candidate possesses an Engineering background and has more recently pivoted into a more customer-centric role within either Sales, Marketing, or Product. This position will report to our Director of Product Management.

Responsibilities:

  • Produce customer and internal presentations, product gap analysis, technical collateral and pre-sales support.
  • Evangelize the value and technical differentiators of the product to sale teams, channel partners, and customers.
  • Generate compelling technical sales enablement collateral such as Q&A, white papers, presentations and competitive analysis. Ensure necessary content, training programs, and design implementations are available to the sales and partner technical communities.
  • Engage with key customers to drive the product and solution adoption.
  • Participate in the product development process to provide use cases, deployment scenarios, and technical documentation of new product requirements. Manage Beta programs of new products.
  • Participate in demo development, industry events, and Pindrop Sales events.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years overall experience in fields such as technical or product marketing, sales, or engineering.
  • Strong communication skills and demonstrated ability in developing and delivering clear technical collateral.
  • Strong technical writing and presentation skills.
  • Thorough technical understanding of telephony.
  • Extensive customer and field interaction is a must.
  • BA/BS or equivalent (engineering, marketing, or business preferred) required.
  • Some travel required (~ 20%).
