The Role:

Pantheon is currently looking for a motivated, proactive and energetic individual to join the company's Customer Success team as a full-time member of the team.  Customer Success Engineers are often the first point of contact for Pantheon customers, we make sure that from the very beginning, our clients are setup to succeed. We are ambassadors for not only the team, but the whole company.

You will join the front line Customer Success team to give guidance to customers and make sure that they are successful on the platform. This will mean building an encyclopedic working knowledge of the Pantheon Dashboard and related systems.

What You’ll Own:

The primary responsibility is to respond to support requests and provide prompt, clear, and complete solutions, with emphasis on first response resolution when possible.  In addition you will also:

  • Provide technical guidance and assistance to new, existing, and potential clients
  • Create and maintain strong relationships through positive support experiences, and encourage clients and agencies to standardize on Pantheon
  • Help create documentation for clients to better understand the platform
  • Communicate customer issues to our engineering team when necessary

Our Ideal Candidate Has:

  • 2-3 years experience in a customer support environment
  • A demonstrable working knowledge of Drupal and/or WordPress
  • Proficiency with PHP/MySQL
  • Git or other version control software skills
  • Project management skills - familiar with Jira or other similar software
  • Good self motivation and high expectations of themselves
  • Clarity - clear and concise communication skills
  • Accuracy - attention to detail and consistently high standards
  • Execution - the capability to deliver in a timely manner in a fast paced role
  • Empathy - we care about our customers and we want them to know it
  • Strong team player
  • Calm under pressure
  • A need to solve problems and help people

Bonus Points For:

  • Active participation in the Drupal/WordPress community (or ideally, previous experience of using and loving the Pantheon platform)
  • Previous experience working for/with a cloud hosting platform
  • Familiarity with Unix/Linux
