Sales Operations Manager, Sales Solutions

The Sales Operations Manager is a high visibility business advisor to the leaders of our Sales Solutions business.  This role will allow a candidate with consulting or investment banking experience to transition into an operating role with a pre-eminent brand in the Social Media space.  You will work with our executives in the global sales and operations role on their most important initiatives, while gaining valuable operations experience.

The ideal candidate will have exceptional analytical and problem solving skills and be adept at building relationships with leaders at multiple levels across the organization including Executive Management, Sales, Sales Operations, Business Operations, Product, Marketing and Sales Systems. The ideal candidate will be able to handle highly sensitive, confidential, and non-routine information supporting a rapidly changing organization. We're seeking a self-starter who can recognize where processes can be improved and who will take the initiative to improve them. Using strong communication skills, the Manager will effectively collaborate with a variety of people and job functions, accomplishing tasks of high complexity and scope, and have the ability to perform professionally in a challenging and extremely fast-paced environment. The candidate is expected to produce insights that will be utilized in executive level presentations and help drive critical business decisions.

This position reports to the North America Head of Sales Operations, Sales Solutions and will be partnering with the Head of Sales, Financial Services vertical. The position will be based out of New York.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct analyses to gain deeper insights into our business and help senior management understand how to scale our Sales Solutions business
  • Gain management confidence in work such that the insights you produce are utilized in executive and board level presentations
  • Establish strong working relationships with business operations, finance, sales management and systems team to achieve above objectives without management involvement
  • Drive the following initiatives:
    • Drive increased penetration in Financial Services vertical:
    • Develop understanding of key segments underlying Financial Services vertical
    • Understand use cases for Sales Navigator for identified segments; prioritize segments
    • Design and execute pilots for potential segment/ account prioritization
    • Manage discreet projects to develop new processes and help standardize our global sales infrastructure:
    • Develop QBR process/template to report progress made in increasing penetration in Financial Services vertical
    • Support financial planning process (e.g., annual planning productivity analyses)

Basic Qualifications

  • 5+ years in management consulting or in a sales strategy and operations role
  • 2 + years managerial experience

Preferred Qualifications

  • MBA Economics, Finance and/or Business
  • Experience in Financial Services industry is preferred  
  • Experience with software or SAAS
  • Deep interest and experience in analyzing data and the ability to see beyond the numbers to drive sound decision-making
  • Experience working in high-growth, performance focused environments
  • Experience working with and presenting to senior management
