The Country Marketing Manager, Australia will own the strategy, launch and execution of key marketing initiatives and build a strong online presence in the fast growing Australian market. We’re looking for someone to lead a terrific team on the ground, partner cross-functionally with our global Product, Sales, Analytics and Marketing teams and work closely with our international colleagues in the US and the UK to drive projects efficiently and effectively. Eventbrite officially opened our Australia office in March 2014, building on a strong organic business where over a hundred thousand events had been hosted on the platform before boots were on the ground. Since building a lean and tenacious team, the Australian business is focused on continuing growth through brand awareness and marketing, and targeting major events where our product is a great fit to help organisers be more successful. The team is made up of three primary functions: Business Development, Marketing, and Account Management. We’re small, scrappy, and help each other out as we work towards our shared vision of making Eventbrite a household name when is comes to live experiences.
This person will own and lead the marketing strategy and tactical execution to drive user acquisition and retention across all marketing channels in Australia along with evaluating and exploring new opportunities, develop a go-to-market strategy and drive measurable results. We put a big emphasis on data, so having the understanding of how to analyse performance data, optimise campaigns, report on success metrics to cross-functional partners and the executive team is big. This role will work closely with US channel marketing managers to implement localised campaigns, managing and providing the content for collateral and other marketing materials to effectively communicate brand and product positioning to local audiences. You'll also Assist in business planning and forecasting and take full ownership of performance against plan. Cross functional work is crucial for this role. You'll work closely with our local PR resources, including setting the strategy and partner with international product manager and advise on product road map to improve performance in Australia.
