Kobalt is looking to hire a highly organized, result-driven individual to join a small, agile Strategy and Business Development team. The Strategic Business Development department works very closely with company’s top management on Group Strategy, BU Strategy and Group Business Development. This is a unique opportunity to not only help shape the future of the company but also directly contribute to execution, within a fast growing and well-established company.The successful candidate will have structured approach to identify and analysis business opportunities, a desire to deliver results and experience working in a fast-paced, ever-evolving environment. You will also be an excellent communicator and as well as a ‘roll up your sleeves’ attitude to getting the job done!

  • Develop, analyze and execute key strategic initiatives
  • Contribute to Group and BU Strategy
  • Develop market intel and share implications for senior leadership
  • Identify and evaluate companies in media & tech for strategic partnerships


  • A background ideally within strategy consulting, PE or Strategy/BD roles within media/technology companies
  • Relentless desire to deliver results, with a willingness to roll up sleeves and get it done
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Structured approach to identifying and assessing business opportunities
  • Excellent communication skills, with an ability to vary communication style based on the audience
  • A love of networking, with desire to know all the key players in the media tech space
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, specifically Excel and PowerPoint
  • Bachelor’s degree from a top tier university
  • Title dependent on experience

Salary: Competitive

Benefits:  You will be eligible for the current health, life, disability and dental insurance offered per company policy and the terms of those plans.  Benefits commence on the first of the month following employment with Kobalt.

Vacation and Sick Days:  You shall be entitled to accrue 10 paid sick days and 15 paid vacation days per year per Company policy.  In addition, Kobalt currently closes its offices between Christmas and New Year’s Day.  Employees are currently paid for these days without using their personal time off as an added benefit.  Vacation and sick time begin accruing the first month following the hire date but can only be taken once the employee has completed Kobalt’s 90 day Introductory Period.
