Establish and maintain an effective and efficient tax management function working to protect the assets of the company and its partnership base.


  • Manage all aspects of the Tax function for the company including domestic and international requirements
  • Manage 3rd party tax advisors and assist in the review and data preparation of federal and state corporate tax returns
  • Manage 3rd party tax advisors and assist in the review of foreign corporation income tax and VAT returns
  • Responsible for all Sales/Use tax, VAT tax, - Property tax payables’ accounting, reconciliations and related financial reporting
  • Assist in the planning and execution of all international statutory filings with 3 rd party tax advisors for each country the company has a taxable presence, includes Japan, Ireland and Turkey
  • Identify and help execute strategies that will minimize the tax liabilities, both financial and cash related
  • Serve as functional tax lead as the company explores additional states, countries or product lines for expansion
  • Prepare and maintain separate tax-based financial statements
  • Lead the process of maintaining/establishing intercompany agreements supporting the tax treatment of transactions between legal entities
  • Work with our 3rd party tax advisors to drive the short and long term tax strategy for the company
  • Identify and help execute strategies that will minimize the tax liabilities, both financial and cash related


  • Undergraduate degree in business with a concentration in tax accounting
  • 4-8 years of tax experience in a combination of public accounting and industry positions, start-up company experience ideal
  • CPA preferred
  • Corporate accounting and federal/state tax compliance experience required
  • Knowledge of indirect taxes such as sales and use, VAT, property and nonresident withholding
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to independently think through business situations and identify tax issues and relevant solutions
  • Ability to partner with internal business units and outside advisors
  • Ability to prioritize multiple projects to ensure all reporting deadlines are met
  • Maintain company values and demand the highest standards of conduct from self and others
  • Work in a fast-paced and results-oriented company. Candidates must demonstrate the ability to work effectively in a collaborative, team-based work environment.
