Our head office is based in San Francisco, however we have recently opened an office in the historic Tannery building downtown Kitchener to take advantage of the exceptional talent in the area. We currently have 4 development labs for our portfolio companies operating there and we are looking to add a Data Scientist to work on new prototype projects. This unique opportunity will allow you to work on the coolest up and coming tech products and companies that come through Atomic Labs.
We are looking for someone with engineering experience but knowledge of machine learning and building learning models using supervised learning. You will be working closely with professional data (such as working experience, education, skills, etc) as well as personal and professional networks of connected individuals to find intelligent ways of recommending referrals for candidates to potential new jobs within an individual’s network.
You will have the ability to pick and choose the best tools for the job as you will lead the project. This project is a brand new idea that is not built out yet. The focus of this role will be to help do that. You will be able to work with your favourite data science toolkit. We’ll be tackling this problem from the ground up and will lean on your experience for the right set of tools for the job. We’re looking for people who want to fundamentally understand the problem and build the best models for the job from the ground up using their strong mathematical background.
