What is the opportunity?

The Studios Team’s mission is to elevate the online presence of local businesses across the country through powerful visual storytelling. Within the Studios Team, there are two groups who do the creative work required to onboard a new customer: Brand Planners and Copywriters.

The Copywriter is an integral part of the creative onboarding process. Using all of the work prepared by the Brand Planner, the Copywriter is the wordsmith and voice chameleon: refines all copy, creates sample posts, and ensures the story is cohesive and impressive before it’s sent to the customer.

What you’ll do as a Copywriter:

  • Communicate closely with Brand Planners and Customer Success Managers to ensure that we accurately capture each customer’s brand and voice.
  • Refine copy prepared by the Brand Planner, seizing the opportunity to impress the customer with top-notch storytelling and writing.
  • Set Community Managers up for success as they take over the brand management and content creation for each customer.
  • Receive, understand and implement customer feedback.

Who you are: 

  • You are a brand chameleon; you’re an expert at navigating from one voice to another, and you can adapt your language and vernacular to represent each one.
  • Your attention to detail and copy editing are excellent, and you can spot a grammatical or style error from a mile away.
  • You enjoy the visual components of brands and are able to produce aesthetically pleasing and well-executed content. 
  • You're strong at working autonomously, but you also succeed in a team environment.
  • You are extremely efficient and effective at synthesizing information and content creation.
  • You thrive on feedback and have a strong ability to implement customer critiques.
  • You’re a clear communicator and can give (and receive) feedback on both micro and macro levels.
