We are now looking for a Senior Products Quality Engineer in Switzerland, to spearhead our growth in a new country and help bring Qualitest to new heights!
Responsibilities:
- Manage and execute quality assurance related tasks as required by international and local standards, customer’s contracts and Elbit Systems’ quality procedures.
- Develop local quality procedures and work instruction to meet local standards and Elbit’s QMS.
- Execute internal and external quality audits and reviews.
- Execute delivery and acceptance events with the local customer.
- Manage QA related issues with local Sub-contractors and suppliers.
- Perform Source inspection at sub-contractors facilities.
- Execute acceptance inspection on incoming goods.
- Preparation and organization of acceptance tests of prototypes and productive systems on the part of the supplier
- Independent agreements with project participants for the organization of quality inspections
- On-site acceptance support for prototype and productive systems
- Support in the planning and establishment of a holistic V&V system for efficient and effective acceptances
- Support in the creation of test cases and test sets for acceptance of prototypes and productive systems
- Monitoring the fullfilment of acceptances
- Tracking of pending items, action items and residual items resulting from acceptances
- Support in the implementation of the resulting pending items, action items and residual items
Requirements
- Science Bachelor degree (in Electronics, Mechanics or System engineering etc.).
- At least 5 years' experience in quality management.
- Experience in working with the Swiss Army.
- Experience in developing and conforming of quality systems.
- Knowledge in Swiss Federal Acts requirements.
- Engineering and System Engineering experience – is an advantage.
- Experience in quality conformity audits.
- Experience in Source Inspections of Mechanical and Electrical Assemblies, and complex systems.
- Experience in leading complex Systems Delivery events.
