ABOUT THE ROLE:

Working under the Financial Operations Manager, the Billing Operations Analyst will be responsible for VTS’ invoicing and collection activities. As the main point of contact for billing issues, you will liaise with different internal teams to resolve issues and improve processes to optimize efficiency.

We work in a fast and agile environment. You should strive to confront daily roadblocks head on, thinking outside of the box, and coming up with solutions as needed. Growth within the Finance department and VTS is in your hands if you’re a multitasker who wants to learn and get stuff done.

The position is a unique opportunity to:

  • Lead the invoicing and collections efforts on the VTS Finance Team
  • Analyze, explain and correct discrepancies and irregularities in the preparation of invoices
  • Research and resolve transaction or billing exceptions daily
  • Generate weekly financial reports, detailing billing and accounts receivable status’
  • Work with other VTS internal teams -- including Account Management and Sales Operations -- and act as their resource person from the Finance Team
  • Assist with month-end close, as needed
  • Assist with ad-hoc projects, as needed

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills, with a strong customer service focus
  • Strong ability to learn and adapt, able to integrate and work in a demanding and evolving organizational context
  • Analytical skills and attention to detail are essential
  • Comfortable in a paperless, digital environment
  • Experience in a high growth start-up environment a plus
  • Microsoft Excel, Quickbooks, and SaasOptics experience a plus
  • BA/BS degree; major in finance, accounting, and/or economics preferred but not required
