Global Events Manager

The Role

Rubrik is seeking a creative and experienced Global Events Manager to drive world class events. You love planning and executing corporate, industry and virtual events that are aligned with Rubrik business objectives. You have a passion for creating experiences that connect customers with our brand. You understand how to collaborate and inspire a range of internal stakeholders, including agency partners, product and field marketing teams and executive staff. You know how to customize the event experience for industry experts, current and potential customers and partners. This role will report directly to the Head of Corporate Marketing at Rubrik Headquarters in Palo Alto, CA.

  • Provide the Marketing team with logistics support of media and analyst tours.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to develop overall strategy and execute event-based marketing.
  • Fully own the strategy of events, from targeting audiences, understanding the competitive landscape and developing and implementing the corresponding event plan, including: materials creation, staffing, on-site set-up, and logistics.
  • Manage budgets and establish measurable objectives and success criteria, including pre-event promotions and post-event evaluations and ROI analysis.
  • Continuous reporting of plans, recommendations and results to Marketing team and senior leadership.
  • Solid understanding of how events align with the overall marketing and communications strategy of a global organization.
  • Strong leadership experience and presentation skills to engage and get support from external partners and internal teams.
  • Experience in managing projects that have tight deadlines, limited resources, and cross-functional dependencies.

About You:

  • 3-5+ years of experience in physical and virtual event project management or trade show production.
  • Analytical, results-oriented, thrives in a fast-paced environment.
  • Fluent in navigating presentation applications such as PowerPoint. Good to have: working knowledge of Salesforce.com and Marketo.
  • Ability to adapt quickly to requirement changes.
  • Solid interpersonal skills as you would interact.
  • Resourcefulness and organizational skills.
  • Roll up your sleeves, can-do attitude.
