Account Executive

The amount of location-based data is exploding, and from biodiversity to transportation to marketing, people around the world are using CARTO to bring their data to life.

We're looking for proactive, tenacious and focused individuals to join our inside sales team in London and Madrid, qualifying and selling to SMB and enterprise organizations across Europe & Rest of World. You must excel at qualifying prospects, demonstrating our solution and closing your own sales over the phone. The ideal candidate will demonstrate ambition, adaptability and the ability to ‘value sell’ for a variety of business needs by industry. You must be able to articulate CARTO’s unique value proposition in a way that is both compelling and relevant to a prospective client’s requirements.

You will:

  • Proactively calling into the respective geography by industry or nominated account creating need. I.e. Sales Prospecting
  • Be responsible for the qualification of inbound leads and converting them to closed deals
  • Thorough and proper qualification of Marketing Qualified leads to Sales Qualified
  • Sell the ROI of Location Intelligence that we provide to potential clients
  • Aggressively follow-through and prioritize client needs in relation to sales opportunities for the company
  • Become proficient and able to conduct product demonstrations to interested prospects via webinars

You offer:

  • Minimum 2-3 years of SaaS/cloud inside sales experience
  • Proven over achievement with SaaS/Cloud inside sales
  • Excellent phone / email / social communication skills
  • Understanding of the business drivers and buying process in enterprise customers
  • Documented success converting leads into sales revenue
  • BI and/or Geospatial experience is a plus but not required
