Intersection is looking for an Account Executive to join our experienced and talented New York team.  In the New York metro area, Intersection has OOH assets across NYC and Westchester.  Our portfolio in New York City includes the highly acclaimed LinkNYC platform, comprised of thousands of high profile digital displays growing rapidly across the City and attracting some of the most highly sought after brands.  Other media includes a ubiquitous footprint of static kiosk displays, the sponsorship of street banners in high demand and urban neighborhoods of NYC, and spectacular media at Penn Station.  The Westchester media is at the county’s airport, where we can connect brands with affluent and executive travelers going to and from this region.  Delivering hundreds of millions of impressions weekly, it’s a robust media market with award winning assets and tremendous opportunity!

The ideal candidate will bring strong relationships and expertise to this job on day one.    

This person will be tasked with creating new opportunities, managing key relationships, competing vs. other companies and growing agency and client spend with Intersection.  

Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

  • Generate revenue from new business prospects, bringing new advertisers to our media.
  • Work with some existing clients and small to medium size advertising agencies to grow their spend with Intersection
  • Meet and exceed quarterly and annual targets,
  • Develop and implement effective market sales and marketing strategies that maximize sales opportunities.
  • Build and maintain effective relationships, to ensure Intersection’s portfolio is well represented across across a book of business
  • Use research and analysis to create rationale and recommendations for proposed solutions.
  • Communicate with local management, as well as clients, buyers, and sales agencies.
  • Effectively compete and win business from other advertising mediums
  • Develop skill set to grow average deal size and client retention rate, using relationships and better understanding to consistently increase billings  

Requirements:

  • 2-4 years of sales experience preferred (must be static, digital OOH, or digital but have sold locally to local customers)
  • Proven track record of meeting/exceeding sales targets
  • Excellent communications skills-both written and oral
  • Strong negotiation, organizational and presentation skill
  • Enthusiastic team player
  • Competitive, with a desire to win
  • Strong work ethic, with the ability to influence
  • Out- of- home media experience a strong plus
  • Digital Media Sales preferred
  • Experience with Salesforce a plus
