Hudl is hiring an

Account Manager

Sydney, Australia
Hudl is changing the future of sports technology. We build video analysis and stat tools for teams around the world, at every level of competition. Our software provides over 5 million coaches and athletes the insight they need to win.

We need an Account Manager to join our Sales team in Sydney. As an Account Manager, you'll be responsible maintaining relationships with current clients, collecting payments on invoices, and partnering with sales representatives to market and sell Hudl in Australia. Experience in sales, customer service, or business relationship management is preferred, though we're also keen to find a passionate, driven rookie eager to get involved with sales.

You Will

  • Reach out to organizations at all levels. All the way from amateur organizations up to elite programs, you'll touch base with teams with emails and phone calls to see how they're doing. You'll help answer questions they have about Hudl, and make their billing process as seamless as possible.
  • Partner with our Sales team. You and our sales representatives will work together on selling clients and maintaining great relationships in territories across Australia.
  • Market to customers over social media. Twitter, Facebook, Instagram - wherever coaches and analysts are on social media in Australia and New Zealand, we'll be there too. You'll write posts and small campaigns to engage clients and keep them up to date on Hudl and Sportscode.
  • Plan ways to encourage payments. In an ideal world, every payment would arrive before its due date. But that's not a reality for some organisations. Your creative thinking and planning will help encourage teams to make their Hudl invoices a priority.
  • Help our teams however you can. Cutting a check is a surprisingly complex process. Often times, you'll know more about the billing process than our coaches and administrators. You'll be their expert and assistant in helping them pay their invoices, letting them focus on their most important work.

You Are

  • A caring, empathetic person. Whether it's a coach, player, administrator, or a sales rep, you can relate to their struggles. Naturally, you do everything in your power to help them out.
  • A persistent, thorough worker. You're disciplined and diligent about your tasks, and you see your work through to completion.
  • A clear, concise communicator. You can craft a meaningful message in a few words rather than a few sentences. Verbally, you're clear, concise, and fun to speak with in 140 characters or fewer.
  • A top-notch problem-solver. You find ways to automate repetitive tasks. You think creatively to get to an agreement or a solution. We don't think anyone's job at Hudl is stagnant - we want you to find ways to improve your own workflow and add value to the team.
  • Tactful with tough conversations. Sometimes you'll have to draw the line when payments aren't coming in. These are challenging interactions to have with our users. You know how to handle yourself in a tough conversation, all while being understanding and respectful of a customer’s situation.

We Will

  • Put you in an environment where you can grow. Hudl is nothing if not a worldwide team of people that push themselves to be better. We'll back that up with an annual stipend to travel and attend a professional conference to build your skills.
  • Arm you with the tech to get the job done. A new Mac which you get to keep after 2 years.
  • Provide you with free tickets to client matches. Our travel and ticket stipend will help you cheer for our clients, right from the stands.
  • Give you two free trips to the US each year. And we highly recommend using one of them for our annual company retreat in Las Vegas.
