Account Manager New Market Sales

The role of this Account Manager position is to help launch Spotify’s advertising business in New Markets. As an Account Manager you will work with different stakeholders across the business to ensure we execute a successful launch.  We’re looking for someone who is willing to travel extensively, with a proven record of revenue generation and a deep interest and passion for online media and advertising.

What you’ll do

  • Deliver solid advertising revenue for each new country launch
  • Create analysis of advertising landscape and understanding market conditions
  • Build sales collateral suitable to market
  • Create awareness of Spotify’s advertising solutions in new markets
  • Collaborate on RFP response strategy and spearhead the creation of proposal presentations
  • Kick off campaign setup and implementation
  • Ensure campaign delivery
  • Work with advertising operations team to monitor campaign performance
  • Campaign optimisation and upsell
  • Interact with accounting department in regards to client credit and billing requests/issues
  • Hire and train local sales teams/sales partners in new markets

Who you are

  • You have 4+ years of experience in account management and sales
  • You are experienced with building international relationships with both internal and external business partners
  • You have a deep understanding of online and offline media and the ability to be creative with audio, digital, and video client solutions
  • You are highly organized and focused multi-tasker with strong attention to detail
  • You are able to sell, with strong analytical and project management skills
  • You are willing to travel extensively  
  • You are fluent in both written and oral English. Fluency in other languages (Spanish or French) is a plus
