About the role:

OLIVER is hiring an Account Manager to join our Corporate Studio supporting our client, Manulife, in Toronto.

As an Account Manager, you will be managing projects simultaneously from brief to execution for the Global Communications team. As an ideal candidate, you have a background working with creatives in a fast paced environment. 

What you will be doing: 

  • Manage projects from start to finish, reviewing project requests/briefs, developing workback schedules and plans to execute projects on time
  • Create and execute a project intake process for the Global Communications team
  • Facilitate assignment of creative resources and supports
  • Adhere to process for asset/folder management and file sharing with client and agency teams
  • Provide support to the team including scheduling meetings, internal check-ins, drafting and posting meeting notes and agendas, developing lists of action items and communicating assignments, deadlines, and needs to ensure projects are following the proposed schedule
  • Follow up with the team on a regular basis to ensure task deliveries remain on schedule, communicating any scheduling changes to the appropriate team members
  • Help facilitate feedback and applicable correspondence related to approvals
  • Proactively communicate the status of deliverables with key external stakeholders by providing accurate details and dependencies
  • Ensure client and agency teams are up-to-date on the status of all projects

What you need to be great: 

  • 3+ years of experience in account management, creative operations or project management roles ideally in a creative studio or agency environment
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a related field
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight timelines and deadlines
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with strong skills in multi-tasking, and prioritizing workload for quick turnarounds
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills
  • Comfortable liaising among different departments and team leads, navigating against competing priorities
  • Highly organized and systematic when it comes to project management, with excellent attention to detail
  • Ability to be on-set for photo and video shoots as needed
