Stripe supports 25 countries today, and we’re rapidly expanding around the globe. You will be one of the first people on the ground in the region, and you will do whatever it takes to make Stripe and Stripe users successful as we grow. The Account Management team is a highly consultative group that owns the relationships with Stripe’s largest and fastest growing merchants. As an Account Manager, you are the main point of contact for senior executives at both growing startups and established enterprises. You are the merchant’s internal advocate and it is your responsibility to understand our user’s unique needs, drive adoption of Stripe offerings, and work across internal product teams to build next generation of user-focused payment tools. We’re looking for a natural relationship builder who can manage both day-to-day conversations as well as high level strategic discussions focused around driving revenue for both our users and Stripe.
 
You'll:
 
  • Solve complex user needs and work across product, sales, risk and operations teams to improve our product
  • Build long-term relationships with top strategic users and directly drive Stripe’s revenue growth
  • Help structure, implement and manage scale related operational strategies and processes in the countries we are live in; and help put together new strategies and processes in the countries we are going to launch
  • Enable our key set of customers’ success, and help our users work more efficiently with Stripe
  • Help with regional Stripe partnerships launches
  • Work with sales, and New Markets Operations teams to provide customer feedback and local market insights to our engineering teams and help shape the product roadmap
 
Our ideal candidate will:
  • Have 2+ years of experience in consulting, VC/PE, or any other analytical role within a rapidly growing company
  • Have significant experience in a customer facing role
  • Be entrepreneurial, independent, and love building things from scratch
  • Understand the Stripe API and build great relationships with technical customers
  • Ability to operate in a highly ambiguous and fast-paced environment
  • Have a process-oriented mindset and ability to execute
  • Be a strong problem solver
 Nice to haves: 
  • Language capabilities beyond English, ideally Chinese
  • Experience with SQL
  • CS background or affinities
  • Experience in a high growth technology company
