Account Managers act as the direct connection between Stripe and its top strategic users ( You will be a trusted partner in driving our users' success -- you'll understand your users' businesses, help ensure Stripe serves their needs, and leverage your relationship and knowledge to guide Stripe product improvements. 
You're a natural people person who isn't afraid to get scrappy to solve customer issues; at the same time, you're highly analytical and have a track record for improving the processes and organizations around you. You're an energized, organized, and happy self-starter who's truly excited to partner with the high-growth technology businesses that rely on Stripe.

  • You'll:
  • Make our top users love Stripe, and help them find success with Stripe's products.
  • Be an advocate for their business.
  • Work across product, sales, risk and operations to use customer feedback in improving our product.
  • We're looking for someone who:
  • Has 2+ years of experience in a client-facing role within a rapidly growing organization.
  • Ability to understand the Stripe API and build great relationships with technical customers.
  • Has a knack for working well with a wide range of people, both internally and externally.
  • Has a natural curiosity as to how businesses work, and will be driven to help our top users find success.
  • Ability to understand complex enterprise requirements and craft custom solutions..
  • Ability to operate in a highly ambiguous and fast-paced environment.
  • Superior verbal and written communication skills.
  • Nice to haves: 
  • Prior experience at a growth stage internet or software company.
  • Prior experience in a customer-facing role working with high-growth technology companies.
  • Experience with SQL or a willingness/aptitude to learn.
  • Has strong relationship instincts and is experienced in working with external clients. 
  • Enjoys solving ever-changing and open-ended problems and product complexities.
  • Naturally likes to dig into data in order to extract key insights for Stripe and its users.
  • Has an ability to understand product quickly & communicate technical subjects simply.
  • Can effectively juggle many priorities and deadlines and is highly organized.
  • Is invested in Stripe and the success of our users.
