We are a collaborative mid-sized agency with an immediate opportunity for an Account Supervisor to join our growing Consumer team!

The Role

M Booth is seeking an Account Supervisor to join a team working on a large skincare brand and CPG organization, working across the consumer comms and employee engagement accounts. In this role, you will join a team that’s just getting started and help shape it - from both a structure and best practices lens. 

The ideal candidate is a beauty/skincare subject matter expert who will counsel client partners, and take the time to educate other teammates, too. You have hands-on experience executing big campaigns in 360 settings. 

You’ll be working on a team embedded with creative, media, and digital teammates, all helping to design work that resonates with our target audiences and breaks through in culture. You will play a pivotal role at an exciting moment of growth. 

Responsibilities/What You’ll Do

  • Project management: Conceptualize programs in partnership with team; lead and manage execution; delegate to support staff to assign tasks and divide and conquer responsibilities
  • Client relationship management: Serve as strategic counselor in partnership with VP; be a day-to-day client liaison, responding quickly to client emails, anticipating client needs
  • Media relations/outreach: Engage key media (in partnership with the media embed) across beauty and parenting verticals
  • Strategic planning: Provide support with program development; contribute ideas; help build recommendations 
  • Collaboration and integration: Partner with account teammates, agency embeds, and integrated agency partners to develop and execute programming
  • Financial management: Manage OOP trackers and ensure on-budget; partner with VP on fee management/tracking
  • Creative thinking: Keep abreast of industry trends and regularly present fresh, proactive ideas to clients
  • Team growth and management: Serve as performance manager; consistently take time to grow/teach all teammates on business 
  • Analysis and reporting: Oversee the Research & Analytics team; lead merchandising into client-facing report

What You’ll Bring 

  • 5-6  years of experience working in public relations/communications, in an agency setting or in-house
  • Deep knowledge of beauty/skincare category 
  • Experience in client management, with strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Track record in leading and managing multiple projects simultaneously
  • Ability to work both collaboratively and independently
  • People-oriented mindset, with experience training/growing junior teammates and contributing to positive team morale

Our Flexible Work Policy: 

We believe that our best work happens in a hybrid working environment. If you are in the NYC (or commutable surrounding distance) hub we want to see you in person 2 days a week. That could mean in our office, in our client's office, on the road with them or attending an industry event.

For those outside the NYC hub, you will be asked to be in person too. Examples of this may include client meetings, events or team meetings. There will also be in person opportunities for you to connect with others who live in your hub to collaborate and work together.
