Account Support Manager, Growth

Account Support Managers, Growth, work cross-functionally to support users looking to grow quickly on Stripe. We help users make foundational improvements to their use of Stripe with personalized recommendations and product education.

You'll:

  • Provide a Gold Standard Experience* to your assigned accounts’ key stakeholders.

  • Build trusted relationships with your accounts while also becoming a subject matter expert on their businesses and Stripe.  

  • Build loyalty to Stripe and Stripe products through personalized engagement with users.

  • Work with the wider Operations organization to provide current state, resources, and knowledge to enable Gold Standard Experience* across teams interacting directly with your assigned users via support channels, external documentation, or product/feature feedback or development.

  • Collaborate on the continued design and iteration of our paid support offering.

  • Provide guidance on implementing operational solutions for topics not limited to fraud/disputes, declines, and product usage.

  • As needed, partner cross-functionally both internally and within your users’ organizations to resolve escalations.

  • Lead user facing meetings via video chat, phone, and occasionally in person.

We're looking for someone who is:

  • 1+ year experience in user facing and relationship building work.

  • A strong product generalist who is energized by the challenge of solving difficult user related problems.

  • Someone who has demonstrable communication and technical skills and has worked in a customer-facing role.

  • Able to quickly prioritize and respond to fluctuating, high-impact, urgent user asks.

  • Operationally savvy, with an ability to identify and eliminate process friction.

  • Professional, confident and collaborative with a variety of positions within Stripe users’ companies, such as finance or leadership.  

  • Practiced in small to medium scale project management.

  • Organized and self-starting.

  • Able to travel up to 10% of the time.
