Pacific Defense is seeking a motivated, ambitious, and talented Senior Accounting Manager to join our Finance team. This individual will be primarily responsible for managing all general accounting and controller functions including monthly close, revenue recognition, cash management, invoicing and collections, payroll, government rate submissions, and special projects as needed. Candidate will actively participate in evolving and implementing additional management control systems to support company growth.

Requirements

You'll bring these Qualifications:

  • US citizen.
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in Accounting in Federal or DoD Contracting.
  • Highly skilled with project based accounting systems.
  • Knowledge of a service-based business operation with Federal government contracting as well as business principles such as job costs, cost collection, analysis techniques, and project control.
  • Experience with CPFF, T&M, and FFP billing.
  • Experience with closing the monthly books, providing basic reporting in the form of financial statements and KPI's, completing and overseeing account reconciliations.
  • Experience in supporting the annual audit process.

These Qualifications would be nice to have:

  • Experience with Unanet accounting system.
  • Active and current DoD clearance (Secret/Top Secret)
