Administrative Business Partner [Fixed-term]

(Temporary maternity coverage role), duration (Immediate start to Mid February 2025)

We’re looking for a highly skilled Administrative Business Partner to support our APJ General Manager, and Head of Japan on our Revenue teams based in the Sydney and Japan regions. You will partner directly with your leaders to help them achieve their goals and objectives as well as work with the larger admin team. 

This role reports into our General Manager for APJ with a dotted line to our Admin Operations team, which delivers best-in-class support to our company leaders. Your Admin Ops teammates will support you with partnership, resources, and knowledge-sharing to ensure your clientship helps Lindsay, Ike and the Sales leadership team achieve their goals. 

You will provide temporary maternity leave coverage based in our Sydney office with an office-centric hybrid schedule. Along with most Asanas, you’ll work from this office in person on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays. Most Asanas have the option to work from home on Mondays and Fridays. What you’ll achieve

  • Build business acumen by understanding Asana’s sales lifecycle and business/organizational priorities
  • Manage large, complex projects with significant impact on business outcomes
  • Earn trusted relationships across the company
  • Ensure and best leverage their time through strategic calendaring: attention to accuracy, detail, context-switching, and energy management
  • Produce impactful meetings, offsites and events through efficient logistics and effective preparation 
  • Turn speed into true velocity: quickly analyze/resolve tasks and improve operational opportunities, in alignment with our goals and priorities
  • Deepen our culture’s business impact by embodying our values and goals in all internal and external relationships

About you

  • 5+ years experience supporting senior leaders (Director, VP, C-Suite) 
  • Have previous experience supporting a global executive, in an enterprise environment with an established knowledge of timezones, visa/travel requirements and cultural nuances
  • Comfortable working autonomously and able to self solve where required
  • Understand the highly flexible nature of support work, and are comfortable being available in-person 3-4 days per week in our Sydney office
  • Are able occasionally to travel internationally (most likely to the Tokyo office) when required
  • Display exceptional discretion and sense of nuance with confidential/sensitive information
  • Innately embody our “Do Great Things, Fast” value and set and accomplish goals in an ambitious, focused, and sustainable manner
  • Honed excellent prioritization skills including analyzing business needs, judgment on trade-offs, and bringing along stakeholders. You show exceptional equanimity, acting with grace and composure under pressure

To ensure pay is fair and not impacted by biases, we're committed to looking at market value which is why we check ourselves and conduct a yearly pay equity audit. 

For this role, the estimated base salary range is between $129,000 AUD - $147,000 AUD. The actual base salary will vary based on various factors, including market and individual qualifications objectively assessed during the interview process. The listed range above is a guideline, and the base salary range for this role may be modified.
